A moment many women recognise
You’ve built a substantial career.
Carried responsibility.
Earned respect.
Made decisions that mattered.
Your role shaped how others saw you — and quietly, how you saw yourself.
Stepping away can bring welcome freedom - but it can also make something feel less clearly defined.
Not crisis. Not regret.
Just a quieter question beginning to form:
Who am I now, beyond the role I've held for so long?
The Silver Reset Perspective
The traditional idea of retirement no longer reflects the reality many women face today.
Longer lives, evolving financial responsibilities, changing family roles and the desire to remain intellectually engaged mean that stepping away from senior leadership is rarely a simple ending.
It is a transition.
The Silver Reset Perspective begins with one simple principle:
Before redefining work, lifestyle, contribution or wellbeing, identity comes first.
Clarity about who you are beyond the role becomes the foundation for every decision that follows.
Start with Identity
For many women, the first step is simply having a thoughtful space to make sense of what this transition feels like.
The Identity Conversation is a private 90-minute structured conversation designed to explore:
• What has changed
• What has not
• What may now be emerging
So that you move forward with greater perspective and steadiness about this stage.

About Silver Reset
I’m Viv Mowatt, founder of Silver Reset – Redefining Retirement for Women.
After a 24-year career in the NHS, I began to notice that retirement for many women is not simply a practical transition — it is an identity one.
Silver Reset emerged from that observation.
Today it is evolving into a platform exploring how women redefine life beyond senior leadership — beginning with identity clarity and expanding into conversations around contribution, wellbeing and lifestyle.
