It's not time to retire - it's time to reset

For professional women whose relationship with a long career is changing - and who want to think differently about what comes next.

Silver Reset is for professional women whose relationship with a long career is changing - or has changed.

After years in which work has shaped so much of life, this can be an interesting point at which to take stock.  Not because everything needs to change, but because you may have more choice about what comes next.

For some women the transition is welcome.  For others, it brings questions they hadn't expected.  Often it's a mixture of both.

What do I want from this phase of my life - and what is mine to shape?

Silver Reset brings together ideas, perspective and practical help for exploring that question across work and money, wellbeing, relationships, contribution, image and lifestyle.

Not a prescription for retirement.  Not a demand to reinvent yourself.

A place to explore what comes next - on your own terms.

A Useful Place to Start

If you'd like somewhere to begin, The Silver Reset Roadmap offers a simple way to take stock across five areas of life that can begin to shift as your relationship with work changes.

Identity - noticing what's changing, what's staying and what matters to you now.

Financial Confidence - considering what greater choice may mean for work, money and independence.

Purpose & Projects - exploring where you might want your interests, engery and experience to go.

Community & Connection - thinking about the people and connections you want around you.

Style & Visibility - considering how you want to show up in this next phase.

There is no prescribed order and no expectation that everything needs to change.  The Roadmap simply gives you somewhere to take stock and begin exploring what matters to you now.

I’m Vivienne Mowatt, founder of Silver Reset

My own transition wasn't as straightforward as I had expected.

After more than two decades in senior NHS leadership, I discovered just how much of my life - including my sense of who I was - had become intertwined with work.

That experience eventually led me to create Silver Reset.  Not because I believe every woman will experience the transition as I did, but because I came to see how little thoughtful attention we give to this stage of women's lives.

There is no single right way to live beyond a long career.  Silver Reset exists to help women explore their own.
